Canvas Stretching

Canvas Stretching

We use two sizes of stretcher bars for your canvas.  For standard stretching we offer a 1" deep stretcher bar.  For a deeper relief on gallery wraps we offer a 2" deep stretcher bar.  All canvases are stretched in-house to ensure the closest attention to detail.

We coat all canvas with Premier Arts Print Shield.

There are several options for stretching.

option 1:
standard stretching with only a sliver of image wrapping around the stretcher bars.
option 2: gallery wrap image around stretcher bars.
option 3: Clone 1.5 or 2.5 inches of image on either 2 or all 4 sides, mirror and gallery wrap extended canvas around stretcher bars.  This method works best on photographic images. We can also customize your canvas gallery wrap by using a solid color sampled from your image
